Our History

Taking Our Place in History

California’s agricultural footprint is of critical importance to the United States, and the world. The vast majority of the fruits and nuts produced here are grown on small to mid-sized orchards. Pomona Farming is working to change the way farming is done by leveraging our resources to bring responsible farming practices to the forefront of all we do.

We have scaled our operations to become one of the world’s leading almond growers and have expanded our portfolio of clean foods grown in both California and Hawaii. We continue to grow through vertical integration by building processing facilities for our major crops, developing a global distribution strategy for our foods, and investing in brands that connect us to the consumer.

California Produces:

  • 80% of the world’s almonds
  • 60% of the world’s pistachios
  • 50% of the world’s walnuts
  • Over a third of the country’s vegetables and two thirds of the country’s fruits
